Resumo

A evolução das cidades tem alterado os sistemas de transportes e de distribuição de cargas, ocasionando problemas de mobilidade e de logística e; exigindo a melhoria das operações de logística e de transporte. Esse artigo realizou um estudo bibliométrico sobre as principais evidências, relacionadas as temáticas Logística e Logística Urbana, em nível mundial. Os dados foram coletados na base Web of Science do Institute for Scientific Information, utilizando-se como palavras-chaves os termos “Logistic” e “Urban Logist” e; delimitando-se a busca de 2008 a 2017. As publicações foram analisadas quanto a possibilidade de ser um “Hot Topic”, de acordo com a metodologia de Banks (2006). A maioria das publicações estão na língua inglesa, concentrando-se nos EUA e na China, sendo o Brasil o sétimo país com maior publicação. As maiores publicações foram nas áreas de Saúde Ocupacional Ambiental Pública e nos transportes, particularmente nos últimos três anos. A temática é recente e incipiente no Brasil. Mundialmente, é considerada um “Hot Topic” nas áreas: social, econômica; ambiental; de gestão; de logística internacional e de sustentabilidade e ainda; como com possibilidade de tornar-se um “Hot Topic” para outras, como operações e engenharia. Essa última é, pois, uma importante área para estudos futuros.

The cities evolution has altered the transport systems and the loads distribution, causing problems of mobility and logistics and; requiring the improvement of logistics and transportation operations. This article carried out a bibliometric study on the main evidences related to Logistics and Urban Logistics at the world. Data were collected from the Institute of Scientific Information's Web of Science using the terms "Logistic" and "Urban Logist" as keywords; delimiting the search from 2008 to 2017. The publications were analyzed regarding the possibility of being a "Hot Topic", according to the methodology of Banks (2006). Most of the publications are in the English language, focusing on the USA and China, with Brazil being the seventh largest country. The largest publications were in the areas of Occupational Environmental Public Health and transport, particularly in the last three years. The theme is recent and incipient in Brazil. Worldwide, it is considered a "Hot Topic" in the areas: social, economic; environmental; management; international logistics and sustainability; as with the possibility of becoming a "Hot Topic" for others, such as operations and engineering. The latter is, therefore, an important area for future studies.
