Resumo

O presente artigo tem por objetivo realizar um estudo comparativo, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e pesquisa documental das estratégias inerentes a Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação que possam estar contidas no Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional vigente das seguintes Instituições de Ensino: Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM); Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS); Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Sul-rio-grandense e o Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Farroupilha (IFFAR). Nesse estudo comparado, percebe-se a diferença da contextualização de processos voltados para ciência, tecnologia e inovação. Entre as instituições criadas recentemente, como no caso dos Institutos Federais, em comparação à Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, os primeiros apresentam seus planos de forma mais generalizada, como capacitações e desenvolvimento de potenciais na organização, ao contrário da UFSM, que registra os objetivos estruturados e especificados em seu Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional.

The present article aims to conduct a comparative study, through bibliographical research and documentary research of the strategies inherent to Science, Technology and Innovation that may be contained in the current Institutional Development Plan of the following Teaching Institutions: Federal University of Santa Maria ( UFSM); Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS); Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Sul-rio-grandense and the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology IFFarroupilha (IFFAR). In this comparative study, one can perceive the difference of the contextualization of processes geared towards science, technology and innovation. Among the institutions recently created, as in the case of the Federal Institutes, in comparison to the Federal University of Santa Maria, the former present their plans more generally, such as training and development of potentials in the organization, unlike UFSM, which registers the objectives structured and specified in its Institutional Development Plan.
