Resumo

O trabalho pretende apresentar os resultados da pesquisa desenvolvida para a dissertação de mestrado intitulada: O Elemento Vegetal como Qualificador dos Recintos Urbanos em Porto Alegre, cidade situada numa região subtropical úmida, sobre aspectos da vegetação urbana pouco estudados até então: seu desempenho energético-ambiental. A dissertação tinha como objetivo investigar o desempenho das principais espécies arbóreas presentes na cidade, relacionar com a morfologia dos recintos urbanos bem como sua relação na geração de microclimas mais amenos. O trabalho busca relacionar a utilização da arborização viária como um elemento de composição da paisagem urbana, harmonia com a infraestrutura urbana e fundamental para a qualificação do meio ambiente urbano.

The work intends to present the results of the research developed for the master's degree dissertation entitled: The Vegetable Element as Qualifier of the Urban Enclosures in Porto Alegre, located city in a humid subtropical area, on aspects of the urban vegetation little studied: energy-environmental acting even. The dissertation had as objective investigates the acting of the main present arboreal species in the city, to relate with the morphology of the urban enclosures and your relationship in the generation of microclimas. The work search to relate the use of the urban vegetation as an element of composition of the urban landscape, harmony with the urban infrastructure and fundamental for the qualification of the urban environment.
