Resumo

O Vale do Jaguari conta com forte presença das atividades pecuárias e agrícolas na estrutura produtiva e na participação do PIB dos nove municípios que o compõe. Entretanto, no que se refere aos indicadores sociais e de renda, a região apresenta alguns dos piores resultados do estado, enfatizando a necessidade de políticas e estratégias para o crescimento econômico, como o crédito rural, instrumento de grande valia para auxiliar no desenvolvimento regional e fomento das atividades. Dessa forma, o trabalho objetivou investigar a relação entre a alocação dos recursos de crédito rural de custeio agropecuário e a produção primária dos municípios do Vale do Jaguari, através do modelo de Correlação de Pearson, técnica que tem como principal objetivo medir a força ou o grau de associação linear entre duas variáveis. A pesquisa, de natureza aplicada, é classificada quanto ao método como quantitativa; quanto aos objetivos como exploratória e quanto aos procedimentos como bibliográfica e estudo de caso. A análise apresentou um resultado de forte correlação entre as duas variáveis, sendo que quando houve aumento no crédito, também se deu elevação na produtividade. Ainda, a região expôs um cenário de concentração no crédito e diminuição da participação da agricultura familiar.

Vale do Jaguari has a strong presence of livestock and agricultural activities in the productive structure and in the GDP share of the nine municipalities that compose it. However, with regard to social and income indicators, the region presents some of the worst results in the state, emphasizing the need for policies and strategies for economic growth in the region, such as rural credit, an instrument of great value to assist in regional development and promotion of activities. Thus, the study aimed to investigate the relationship between the allocation of rural credit resources for agricultural costs and the primary production of the municipalities of Vale do Jaguari, through pearson's correlation model, a technique that has as main objective to measure the strength or degree of linear association between two váriables. The research, of applied nature, is classified as quantitative; as to the objectives as exploratory and as to the procedures such as bibliographic and case study. The analysis showed a result of strong correlation between the two variables, and when there was an increase in credit, productivity also increased. In fact, the region exposed a scenario of concentration in credit and decreased participation in family farming.
