Reumo
The objective of this work was to evaluate the sugarcane bagasse used as substrate for the fungus Metarhizium anisopliae as adsorbent for the removal of the crystal violet dye. Characterization of the material by X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Spectroscopy in the Infrared Region with Fourier Transform (FTIR) were performed. Studies of the effect of the initial pH, adsorbent mass and the adsorption efficiency of a simulated effluent should be made. The maximum adsorption capacity was 192 mg g-1 at pH 10.0 and mass of 0.4 g.L-1, representing high adsorption capacity in the removal of crystal violet dye. The material was also efficient in the removal of color from the simulated effluent, 61.8%.
