Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo é compreender quais as características da literatura científica internacional sobre a temática de Mudanças Climáticas e Sustentabilidade no período de 2008 a 2017. Para isso, o método estabelecido foi uma pesquisa bibliométrica, exploratória. Para a coleta de dados foi utilizada a base de dados Web of Science, totalizando 1029 artigos. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstram que o ano de maior número de publicações foi 2017. Em relação ao número de publicações, vários periódicos se destacaram dentre eles o Energy Policy. As instituições que mais se destacam em termos de publicações relacionadas a temática foram University Of London, localizada no Reino Unido e University Of California System, situada nos Estados Unidos. Assim, sugere-se para futuros estudos expandir a busca de artigos sobre os temas Mudanças Climáticas e Sustentabilidade em outras bases, bem como eventos científicos nacionais e internacionais.

The objective of this study is to understand the characteristics of the international scientific literature on the subject of Climate Change and Sustainability from 2008 to 2017. For this, the established method was a bibliometric, exploratory research. For data collection, the Web of Science database was used, totaling 1029 articles. The results of the research show that the year with the greatest number of publications was 2017. In relation to the number of publications, several periodicals stood out among them the Energy Policy. The institutions that stand out most in terms of publications related to the subject were University Of London, located in the United Kingdom and University Of California System, located in the United States. Thus, it is suggested for future studies to expand the search for articles on the themes Climate Change and Sustainability in other bases, as well as national and international scientific events.
