Resumo

A pesquisa teve como objetivo o objetivo do estudo é analisar as oportunidades de melhoria da eficiência dos estados produtores de soja, com foco no crédito para custeio da atividade. Para atingir os objetivos da pesquisa foram utilizadas a análise descritiva e a DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis). As DMUs (Decision Making Units) foram selecionadas a partir dos Estados produtores de soja que tiveram crédito para custeio destinado a essa cultura, entre as safras de 2013/2014 e 2017/2018, cinco safras. Dezesseis Estados possuíam ambas informações na data da coleta, sendo assim, o estudo considerou um total de oitenta DMUs. Os principais resultados salientam que a melhor forma de os recursos serem distribuídos é alcançando mais produtores através dos contratos e que esse alcance seja feito de uma forma que haja mais equilíbrio de distribuição desse recurso, resultando assim, em mais estados eficientes. Também é possível identificar pontos de melhoria para os produtores, quanto à utilização desses recursos, uma vez que é possível atingir resultados eficientes reduzindo a quantidade de recursos utilizados. Os resultados obtidos auxiliam a autoanálise dos produtores de cada estado e região ao procurarem alcançar melhor uso dos recursos e aos gestores públicos e agentes de crédito, é fonte para analisar o uso dos recursos como medida base para melhoria da eficiência.

The objective of the study was to analyze the opportunities to improve the efficiency of soybean producing states, focusing on credit to fund the activity. To achieve the research objectives were used descriptive analysis and DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis). The Decision Making Units (DMUs) were selected from the soybean producing states that had credit for funding for this crop, between the 2013/2014 and 2017/2018 harvests, five harvests. Sixteen states had both information at the time of collection, so the study considered a total of eighty DMUs. The main results point out that the best way for resources to be distributed is to reach more producers through contracts and that this reach is done in a way that there is more balance of distribution of this resource, thus resulting in more efficient states. It is also possible to identify improvement points for producers regarding the use of these resources, since it is possible to achieve efficient results by reducing the amount of resources used. The obtained results help the self-analysis of the producers of each state and region when trying to achieve better use of resources and to the public managers and credit agents. It is a source to analyze the use of resources as a base measure for efficiency improvement.
