Resumo

A sustentabilidade vem ganhando espaço dentro das instituições, contudo, suas atividades ainda precisam ser melhores entendidas. Com esse intuito o objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a implantação da Politica Ambiental no âmbito de uma instituição de ensino federal. E para melhor compreender esse objetivo, desdobrou-se em objetivos específicos: verificar a estrutura/cultura na inserção de uma Política Ambiental e, ainda, detectar iniciativas e boas práticas de sustentabilidade advindas de uma Politica Ambiental. Para isso, a metodologia empregada para o desenvolvimento do trabalho é qualitativa de caráter descritiva, desenvolvida através da consulta de documentos de acesso público que contenham bibliografia requerida e normativa estabelecida. Conta também, com aplicação de um questionário estruturado, com perguntas fechadas, aos servidores do órgão para melhor entendimento e análise do conteúdo. Os resultados indicaram que a Politica Ambiental ainda encontra-se em fase de implantação e execução. Informações apresentam que a mudança cultural vem ocorrendo de forma significativa em relação à temática, pois desde 2012 são debatidos os temas conjuntamente entre discentes e docentes, onde trabalhos e iniciativas estão sendo desenvolvidas. Várias são as práticas operadas para o fomento da Politica Ambiental, destacando-se nas áreas de aquisição de bens e serviços (compras sustentáveis), geração, tratamento e destinação de resíduos; e ações de educação ambiental interna e externa.

The sustainability has been gaining ground within institutions, but its activities still need to be better understood. To this end, the objective of this study was to analyze the implementation of the Environmental Policy within a federal educational institution. And to better understand this objective, it was divided into specific objectives: to verify the structure / culture in the insertion of an Environmental Policy and, also, to detect initiatives and good practices of sustainability coming from an Environmental Policy. For this, the methodology used for the development of the work is qualitative and descriptive, developed through the consultation of documents of public access that contain required bibliography and established normative. It also has a structured questionnaire with closed questions applied to the agency's servers for better understanding and content analysis. The results indicated that the Environmental Policy is still in the implementation and execution phase. Information shows that cultural change has been taking place significantly in relation to the theme, since since 2012 the themes have been debated jointly between students and teachers, where works and initiatives are being developed. There are several practices for the promotion of Environmental Policy, especially in the areas of acquisition of goods and services (sustainable procurement), generation, treatment and disposal of waste; and internal and external environmental education actions.
