Resumo

A inclusão da sustentabilidade nas organizações se tornou necessária ao passo que essas reconheceram a importância de suas ações frente a fatores a elas externos, como a sociedade e o ambiente. Nesse sentido, os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável, instituídos pela Agenda 2030, surgem como a concretização desse pensamento - onde todos são responsáveis pelo desenvolvimento baseado na solidariedade, altruísmo e respeito com os recursos naturais. Destarte, esse estudo se delineou com o intuito de identificar como as ações de uma Instituição Financeira do Rio Grande do Sul contribuem para o atingimento dos Objetivos da Agenda 2030 para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável, além de fomentar a discussão sobre a sustentabilidade e a sua incluusão das organizações. O estudo se trata de uma pesquisa descritiva com abordagem qualitativa. Para a sua realização, foi necessário discorrer, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, sobre a ampla temática da sustentabilidade – as origens, conceitos, a aplicabilidade nas organizações e a sua importância na contemporaneidade. Por meio de busca documental no site e nos comunicados de sustentabilidade da instituição, também com o auxílio de colaboradores e pela observação do autor como estagiário da instituição, foi possível catalogar as ações que apresentavam cunho sustentável. Essas ações foram comparadas com as metas de cada ODS, a fim de vincular as ações com o ODS que fomentaram. Como resultado, foi possível identificar 100 ações que fomentaram 16 dos 17 Objetivos da Agenda 2030 - um número muito expressivo, que revela o esforço da instituição na construção de um mundo melhor para as gerações atuais e futuras. Esse estudo surgiu da necessidade de se promover sociedades, governos e instituições justas, eficazes e responsáveis.

The inclusion of sustainability in organizations became necessary while they recognized the importance of their actions in the face of external factors, such as society and the environment. In this sense, the Sustainable Development Goals, established by the 2030 Agenda, emerge as the realization of this thought - where everyone is responsible for development based on solidarity, altruism and respect for natural resources. This way, this study was designed with the aim of to identify how the actions of a Financial Institution of Rio Grande do Sul contribute to the achievement of the Objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and to foment the discussion about sustainability and its inclusion through organizations. The study is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. For its realization, it was necessary to discuss, through bibliographic research, the broad theme of sustainability – the origins, concepts, applicability in organizations and their importance in contemporaneity. Through documentary search on the site and sustainability announcements of the institution, also with the help of employees and the author's observation as an intern of the institution, it was possible to catalog the actions that had a sustainable nature. These actions were compared with the goals of each SDG, with the aim of to link the actions with the SDG that they promote. As a result, it was possible to identify 100 actions that fostered 16 of the 17 Objectives of the 2030 Agenda - a very expressive number, which reveals the institution's effort to build a better world for current and future generations. This study arose from the need to promote governments and institutions fair, effective and responsible.
