Resumo

O Conselho Federal de Contabilidade, por meio da Resolução CFC nº 1486/2015, regulamentou o Exame de Suficiência como um dos requisitos para a obtenção de Registro Profissional em Conselho Regional de Contabilidade (CRC). O Simulado Contábil, projeto de extensão e ensino vinculado ao Curso de Ciências Contábeis da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, visa contribuir no ensino-aprendizagem dos estudantes que, por meio da realização da prova simulada, podem ter a ciência do grau de exigência do Exame de Suficiência e, também, do seu nível de conhecimento. Assim, surge o questionamento que norteou a pesquisa: Qual o desempenho dos estudantes de Ciências Contábeis da região de Santa Maria no Simulado Contábil? Para o alcance deste objetivo, adotou-se o método de pesquisa descritiva, de caráter quantitativo e qualitativo, por meio do levantamento de dados. Através das três edições do Simulado Contábil realizadas (2019/1, 2019/2 e 2021/2), foi possível identificar que o índice de aprovação na prova simulada foi, nos três anos, maior do que a taxa global a nível Rio Grande do Sul, divulgada pelo CRC-RS. Além disso, verificou-se a percepção dos estudantes sobre o Simulado Contábil, a partir disso, concluiu-se que grande parte dos participantes considera a prova como nível médio de complexidade, sendo o desconhecimento acerca do conteúdo e a forma diferente da exposição das temáticas nas questões os dois principais focos de dificuldade apontados; quanto ao tempo para realização da avaliação simulada, a maioria dos participantes considera adequado. Em 2021/2, a prova ocorreu no formato virtual e a maior parte dos acadêmicos classificou a experiência como boa ou excelente. Apesar do Exame de Suficiência estar difundido entre os acadêmicos dos cursos de Ciências Contábeis, o índice de aprovação nesta avaliação é relativamente baixo nos últimos anos, assim, o Simulado Contábil exerce papel relevante à medida que objetiva preparar os acadêmicos, conectando-os ao formato do Exame.

The Federal Accounting Council, through CFC Resolution No. 1486/2015, regulated the Sufficiency Exam as one of the requirements for obtaining Professional Registration in the Regional Accounting Council (CRC). The Accounting Simulate, an extension and teaching project linked to the Accounting Sciences Course at the Federal University of Santa Maria, aims to contribute to the teaching-learning of students who, by taking the simulated test, can be aware of the exacting level of the Sufficiency Exam and also of your level of knowledge. Thus, the question that guided the research arises: What is the performance of Accounting students in the Santa Maria region in the Accounting Simulation? To achieve this objective, the descriptive research method was adopted, with a quantitative and qualitative character, through data collection. Through the three editions of the Accounting Simulate held (2019/1, 2019/2 and 2021/2), it was possible to identify that the pass rate in the simulated test was, in the three years, higher than the global rate at the level of Rio Grande do Sul, released by the CRC-RS. In addition, the perception of students about the Accounting Simulation was verified, from that, it was concluded that most of the participants consider the test as an average level of complexity, being the lack of knowledge about the content and the different way of exposing the themes in the questions the two main points of difficulty pointed out; as for the time to carry out the simulated assessment, most participants consider it adequate. In 2021/2, the test took place in a virtual format and most academics rated the experience as good or excellent. Although the Sufficiency Examination is widespread among academics in Accounting courses, the pass rate in this assessment is relatively low in recent years, thus, the Accounting Simulate plays a relevant role as it aims to prepare academics, connecting them to the format of the Exam.
