Resumo

Este trabalho consiste em um levantamento de dados sobre os acidentes de trabalho registrados no ano de 2017 na Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Os dados foram obtidos através do Sistema de Informação para Ensino SIE e Núcleo de Segurança do trabalho NSAT da UFSM e a análise foi classificada por acidentes típicos e acidentes de trajeto. O objetivo do estudo é conhecer a incidência de acidentes dentro da instituição, bem como abordar essa temática pouco explorada a nível acadêmico e profissional. Com o levantamento de dados constatou-se que no ano de 2017 foram registrados 37 acidentes, sendo 28 acidentes típicos e 9 de trajeto. Quanto ao perfil, identificou-se uma predominância do sexo feminino e a faixa etária de maior incidência é de 40 a 49 anos. O local que mais registrou acidentes foi o Hospital Universitário de Santa Maria HUSM, onde ocorreram 21 acidentes típicos. Entre as causas mais comuns, tem-se queda de mesmo nível e lesões, fraturas ou esmagamentos.

This work consists of a survey of data on work accidents registered in the year 2017 at the Federal University of Santa Maria. The data were obtained through the Information System for Teaching SIE and the Safety Nucleus of the NSAT work of the UFSM and the analysis was classified by typical accidents and accidents of course. The objective of the study is to know the incidence of accidents within the institution, as well as to address this theme that has not been explored at academic and professional level. With the data collection it was verified that in the year of 2017 37 accidents were registered, being 28 typical accidents and 9 of course. As to the profile, a predominance of females was identified and the age group with the highest incidence is 40 to 49 years. The site that registered the most accidents was the University Hospital of Santa Maria HUSM, where there were 21 typical accidents. Among the most common causes, there is even fall and injuries, fractures or crushing.
