Resumo

Este artigo tem como intuito de analisar as expectativas dos alunos ingressantes e formandos, em relação ao curso de graduação em Administração – Diurno de uma Universidade Federal de Santa Maria/RS e ao mercado de trabalho. Os participantes desta pesquisa foram 24 alunos ingressantes no curso e 20 alunos concluintes, sendo os dados da pesquisa obtidos por meio de questionários, aplicados presencialmente em ambas as classes, durante o mês de Maio de 2018. Os estudantes de ambos grupos registraram estarem parcialmente satisfeitos e com suas expectativas alcançadas no curso (62,5% dos ingressantes e 90% dos concluintes). Dentre os principais fatores daqueles que estão parcialmente ou insatisfeitos com o curso, os respondentes alegam estar relacionados com a matriz curricular do curso de Administração. Enquanto em relação às expectativas esperadas pelo mercado de trabalho, os estudantes afirmar estar preocupados, diante atual situação em que o país vive, mas acreditam que, para se sobressair da situação encontrada no momento, o empreendedorismo e a continuidade aos estudos são as melhores alternativas.

This article aims to analyze the expectations of incoming students and graduates, in relation to the degree course in Administration - day of a University Federal de Santa Maria/RS and the labor market. The participants of this research were 24 students entering the course and 20 graduating students, and the research data were obtained through questionnaires, applied in person in both classes, during the month of May 2018. Students from both groups registered partially satisfied and with their expectations reached in the course (62.5% of the participants and 90% of the graduates). Among the main factors of those who are partially or dissatisfied with the course, the respondents claim to be related to the curricular matrix of the Administration course. While in relation to the expectations expected by the labor market, the students affirm to be worried, given the current situation in which the country lives, but believe that, to stand out from the situation found at the moment, entrepreneurship and continuity of studies are the best alternatives.
