Resumo

As intensas transformações que vêm ocorrendo frente às mudanças ambientais nas últimas décadas têm se tornado alvo de discussão em diversos campos de estudo. Devido à isso, o presente estudo teve como objetivo central analisar as principais características da literatura sobre os temas Climate Change e Innovation no período de 2008 a 2017. A pesquisa classifica-se como descritiva e foi desenvolvida a partir de uma pesquisa bibliométrica. Para esse fim, utilizou-se a base de dados da Web of Science da ISI Web of Knowledge buscando a identificação das características gerais das publicações, a identificação dos principais hot topics e as publicações mais citadas, com os autores que mais publicam na temática pesquisada. De acordo com os resultados da pesquisa, evidenciou-se que a quantidade de artigos publicados no período estudado teve um aumento significado, concentrando-se a maior parte das publicações no ano de 2017. As intuições University of California System e University of London destacam-se como as intuições que mais publicam na área pesquisada, as quais estão localizadas nos Estados Unidos e na Inglaterra, respectivamente, coincidindo com os países que mais publicam na área. Ainda, identificou-se que políticas, tecnologia, estratégia, investimento, economia, indústrias, sociedade, governo, energias renováveis, e ecologia são hot topics relacionados à Mudanças Climáticas e Inovação.

The intense transformations that have been occurring in the face of environmental changes in the last decades have become the subject of discussion in several fields of study. Due to this, the present study had as main objective to analyze the main characteristics of the literature on the themes Climate Change and Innovation in the period of 2008 to 2017. The research is classified as descriptive and was developed from a bibliometric research. For this purpose, the Web of Science database of the ISI Web of Knowledge was used to identify the general characteristics of the publications, the identification of the main hot topics and the most cited publications, with the authors who publish the most in the researched subject. According to the results of the research, it was evidenced that the number of articles published in the period studied had a significant increase, concentrating most publications in the year 2017. The intuitions University of California System and University of London stand out, and are located in the United States and England, respectively, coinciding with the countries that publish the most in the area. It has also been identified that policies, technology, strategy, investment, economy, industry, society, government, renewable energy, and ecology are hot topics related to Climate Change and Innovation.
