Resumo

Ao redor do mundo é possível ver as ações das organizações sem fins lucrativos em prol da sociedade, causando mudanças na realidade local, regional, nacional e internacional (SALES; SIVA, 2014). As organizações sem fins lucrativos - OsFil são organizações que pertencem ao terceiro setor, e podem ser de caráter filantrópico, beneficente, cultural, religioso, educacional, voluntário, não tendo como objetivo o resultado econômico e financeiro, ao mesmo tempo, em que não fazem parte de iniciativas governamentais (SALES; SIVA, 2014; BOBSIN; PETRINI; POZZEBON, 2019). O Comitê Gestor da Internet no Brasil (CGI.br) desenvolve pesquisa baseadas no uso da infraestrutura de TIC nas organizações sem fins lucrativos. Os resultados indicam que as OsFil têm um longo caminho a perseguir para poderem usufruir de todos os benefícios potenciais das novas tecnologias (BOBSIN; POZZEBON, 2017; CGI.br, 2017). O uso da TIC ainda é pouco explorado pelas organizações por vários motivos como falta de recurso, especificidades da missão, falta de capacitação, falta de compreensão do alcance das mídias sociais (CGI.br, 2017). A pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar o uso e aplicação das TICs nas OsFil. Para isso foi utilizado uma survey online e entrevistas para a coleta dos dados. Assim, foram analisados 82 questionários e 7 entrevistas com gestores de OsFil. A principal fonte de recurso citada pelas OsFil foi às doações de voluntários (pessoas físicas) com 79,3%. Com relação às redes sociais utilizadas pelas OsFil, o Facebook (93,8%) é o mais utilizado. Nas entrevistas o WhatsApp teve um destaque na operacionalização das atividades das OsFil, ele também é utilizado por 54,3% das organizações que responderam a survey. o uso e a aplicação das TIC estão se intensificando cada vez mais na sociedade, e são um elemento que já está institucionalizado. Desta forma é um desafio para as OsFil se manterem dentro de um ambiente que sofre constantes mudanças.

Around the world it is possible to see the actions of non-profit organizations in favor of society, causing changes in local, regional, national and international reality (SALES; SIVA, 2014). The results indicate that OsFil have a long way to go in order to realize the full potential benefits of new technologies (BOBSIN; POZZEBON, 2017; CGI.br, 2017). The use of ICT is still little explored by organizations for various reasons such as lack of resources, mission specificities, lack of training, lack of understanding of the reach of social media (CGI.br, 2017). The research aimed to analyze the use and application of ICT in OsFil. For this, an online survey and interviews were used for data collection. Thus, 82 questionnaires and 7 interviews with OsFil managers were analyzed. The main source of funding cited by OsFil was donations from volunteers (individuals) with 79.3%. Regarding the social networks used by OsFil, Facebook (93.8%) is the most used. In the interviews WhatsApp had a prominence in the operationalization of OsFil activities, it is also used by 54.3% of the organizations that answered the survey. ICT use and application is increasingly intensifying in society, and is an element that is already institutionalized. Thus, it is a challenge for OsFil to remain within a constantly changing environment.
