Resumo

A presente pesquisa buscou analisar a viabilidade econômico-financeira da implantação de um transportador revendedor retalhista (TRR), que visa vender e transportar combustíveis a granel e realizar a entrega a domicílio, no município de Faxinal do Soturno/RS. Para a construção dos fluxos de caixa, e a projeção dos resultados, este estudo tomou como base três cenários para a implantação do TRR: um cenário otimista (100% de demanda do produto na região), um cenário razoável (75% de demanda na região) e, um cenário pessimista (50% de demanda), analisados nos 5 (cinco) primeiros anos de atividade do empreendimento. Os resultados evidenciaram que, nas três situações, a implantação do TRR se apresentou viável no que tange aos aspectos econômicos e financeiros do negócio. O tempo de retorno do investimento foi de aproximadamente um ano e meio no primeiro cenário; dois anos, para o cenário razoável; e, quatro anos para o retorno do investimento, no cenário pessimista. Pode-se concluir que a instalação do TRR no município representa um negócio viável e que o estudo servirá de subsídio à decisão sobre a aplicação de recursos no negócio, visto apresentar elementos capazes de orientar sobre a viabilidade desse tipo de investimento.

This research sought to analyze the economic and financial feasibility of implementing a retail carrier transporter (TRR), which aims to sell and transport in bulk and perform home delivery in the municipality of Faxinal de Soturno / RS. For the construction of cash flows, and the projection of results, this study is based on three scenarios for the implementation of the TRR: an optimistic scenario (100% of product demand in the region), a reasonable scenario (75% of demand in the region). region) and, a pessimistic scenario (50% demand), impact on the first 5 (five) years of activity of the enterprise. The results showed that, in the three hypotheses, the implementation of the TRR is viable with regard to the economic and financial aspects of the business. The return on investment was approximately one and a half years in the first scenario; two years, for the reasonable scenario; and, four years for the return on investment, in the pessimistic scenario. It can be concluded that the installation of the TRR in the municipality represents a viable business and that the study will serve as a subsidy to the decision on the application of resources in the business, since it presents elements of guidance on the viability of this type of investment.
