Reumo
O atual momento de crise da COVID-19 está gerando incertezas quanto ao futuro das organizações, principalmente nas atuantes do setor de saúde. É nesse cenário que a presente pesquisa busca identificar quais elementos contextuais essenciais e processos estratégicos de backoffice suportam o enfrentamento da crise advinda da pandemia de COVID-19 nas organizações de saúde. Para tanto foi realizado um estudo de caráter qualitativo exploratório, baseado em entrevistas semiestruturadas, com duas organizações distintas atuantes no setor de saúde brasileiro. Foi identificado que a cultura organizacional é o principal fator de receptividade à mudança em um ambiente externo altamente instável, interligado e sensível, como o apresentado pela pandemia de COVID-19.
The current moment of crisis of COVID-19 is generating uncertainties regarding the future of organizations, especially those active in the health sector. It is in this scenario that the present research seeks to identify which essential contextual elements and strategic back office processes support the confront of the crisis arising from the COVID-19 pandemic in health organizations. To this end, a qualitative exploratory study was carried out, based on semi-structured interviews, with two different organizations active in the Brazilian health sector. It was identified that organizational culture is the main factor of receptivity to change in a highly unstable, interconnected and sensitive external environment, such as that presented by the pandemic of COVID-19.
