Resumo

A prestação de serviços hospitalares possui uma diferenciação pontual em relação a outras organizações, tornando suas atividades seja elas finalísticas ou não, um desafio muitas vezes incomparável (RAIMUNDO et al., 2015). Em suas atividades de gestão de materiais, recursos humanos, administração financeira e em especial a logística de suprimentos práticas antes aceitas como aplicáveis somente a serviços hospitalares hoje não mais atendem a suas demandas. Decerto que suas atividades fazem parte do rol de serviços indispensáveis para a manutenção da qualidade de vida de qualquer população em qualquer região do planeta, atividades estas muitas vezes prejudicas por ineficiências operacionais, recursos financeiros insuficientes, pandemias, crescimento e envelhecimento populacional. Seguramente está entre os obstáculos para as próximas gerações uma solução eficiente para a gestão dos estabelecimentos de saúde, tornado estes cada vez mais próximos e assemelhados com a gestão de organizações industriais (KETELHÖHN; SANZ, 2016). Em face deste cenário, diversos hospitais têm buscado técnicas adotadas na manufatura para solucionar seus problemas e gerenciar seus processos, como o Lean Thinking e o Six Sigma (DICKSON et al., 2009), surgindo a questão: Quais ferramentas lean podem ser implementadas para a gestão de estoques em hospitais? A partir desse contexto, este artigo tem como objetivo realizar uma revisão sistemática na literatura acadêmica das discussões sobre aplicação da logística hospitalar com foco em gestão de materiais. Para isso, detalhou-se a metodologia para obter uma revisão teórica, informar a metodologia prática utilizada nesta pesquisa e analisar os resultados obtidos por meio de três bases de dados on-line, Web of Science, Pubmed e Scopus. Como resultado, os pesquisadores que atuam na área da saúde terão uma síntese das ferramentas e práticas mais utilizadas neste ambiente para melhorar os processos e aumentar a qualidade no atendimento.

The provision of hospital services is differentiated from other organizations, making its activities whether final or not, a challenge that is often incomparable (RAIMUNDO et al., 2015). In its activities of materials management, human resources, financial administration and especially the logistics of practical supplies previously accepted as applicable only to hospital services today, they no longer meet their demands. Certainly, its activities are part of the list of services that are essential for maintaining the quality of life of any population in any region of the planet, activities that are often hampered by operational inefficiencies, insufficient financial resources, pandemics, population growth and aging. Surely an efficient solution for the management of health establishments is among the obstacles for the next generations, making them increasingly closer and similar to the management of industrial organizations (KETELHÖHN; SANZ, 2016). In the face of this scenario, several hospitals have sought techniques adopted in manufacturing to solve their problems and manage their processes, such as Lean Thinking and Six Sigma (DICKSON et al., 2009), the question arising: Which lean tools can be implemented for inventory management in hospitals? From this context, this article aims to carry out a systematic review in the academic literature of the discussions on the application of hospital logistics with a focus on materials management. For this, the methodology was detailed to obtain a theoretical review, inform the practical methodology used in this research and analyze the results obtained through three online databases, Web of Science, Pubmed and Scopus. As a result, researchers working in the health field will have a summary of the tools and practices most used in this environment to improve processes and increase the quality of care.
